The following rules and terms pertain to you being able to republish the content listed in the Content section of the Online Dating Content Website. All content is under copyright protection. By following the below rules and terms, you will receive a permission statement to allow you to publish our copyrighted material that appears in the Content section.

The following rules and terms must be followed in order for your Website to qualify for republishing content:

Rule & Terms 1: If your Website contains any adult content, illegal or racist material then it does not qualify for this program. This program is only for dating sites and services that are "family friendly".

Rule & Terms 2: You may only begin posting content after receiving a permission statement. Read "Steps to Receive a Permission Statement" below. You can only post the material on a Website you have a permission statement for. If you have more than one Website, you must submit a request for each site you want to use content on. Once you have a permission statement for a particular Website, you may republish any content now and in the future without seeking another permission statement. Permission statements may be revoked at anytime if changes made to your site break any of our rules and policies.

Rule & Terms 3: None of the articles may be edited (except to remove the bracketed statements and appropriately add the links of the byline and bio). Here's an example:

"by Kim Lance, associate publisher of Online Dating Magazine [Online Dating Magazine must be linked to http://www.onlinedatingmagazine.com]"

When publishing, you would edit the above to remove the bracketed comment and add the link like so:

"by Kim Lance, associate publisher of Online Dating Magazine"

You agree that with the exception of the bracketed instructions, you will not edit the article when publishing it on your Website. If you feel there is something you need to edit, you must first get the permission of the Online Dating Content Website on a case-by-case basis.

Rule & Terms 4: At the bottom of every article you publish, you must include the following statement: "This article is copyright and may not be republished. Used with permission."

Rule & Terms 5: You may not sell any of the content or offer it to others for republishing.

STEPS TO RECEIVE A PERMISSION STATEMENT
In order to receive a permission statement you must:

Step 1: Send an email to webmaster@onlinedatingcontent.com with the subject header "permission to reuse content". The email must contain the following:

A) This statement, "I have read the rules and terms of the Online Dating Content Website and agree to abide by them in republishing material on my Website. I recognize that the material is copyright and my permission to reuse the material is subject to being revoked. I also attest that I will never offer the material as my own, never try to sell it, and never put it on sites I don't have permission to put it on."

B) The name and URL of the Website you want to publish the material on.

C) Your name and position, if applicable.

Step 2: Within 48 hours you will receive a Permission Statement or Not Accepted notice from the Online Dating Content Website. If you receive a Permission Statement, you may immediately begin republishing content now and in the future for the site that has been accepted as long as you abide by the rules and terms. If you receive a Not Accepted notice, it will state why. If the reason why is changeable and you make the requested changes, you may submit again for another permission statement.

The process of using Online Dating Content Website articles is very simple once you've gone through the process of receiving a permission statement. The Online Dating Content Website team will regularly check your Website to make sure that the content is being used appropriately.
